How to cook buckwheat in a pan in an unusual way: a tasty dinner dish
Even the most common cereal like buckwheat can be prepared in such a way that the dish is tasty, satisfying and complete. To do this, you will need simple vegetables that are always in the refrigerator, as well as meat. You can use any kind. Buckwheat in this form can be eaten on its own and you don't even need any cutlets or chops.
Food blogger Maria Khrypko with the nickname masha_hrypko shared a recipe for buckwheat with meat and vegetables in a frying pan on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- onions - 4 pcs
- carrots - 1 pc
- pork - 400 g
- buckwheat
- salt, pepper
- vegetable oil
- water
Method of preparation:
1. Cut onions and carrots into cubes and fry over medium heat.
2. Cut meat and add to the vegetables. Fry in the same way on medium heat for a few minutes.
3. Add 100 ml of water and fry until tender.
4. Add water and buckwheat again. Stir and cook for about 40 minutes until the buckwheat is tender.
