Homemade milk sausage and sausages: how to surprise your family with a new taste of a familiar dish

Dairy sausage is a meat product that everyone has known since childhood. The same goes for sausages. We used to eat these products quite often, but now we try to avoid them because they have not been of good quality for quite some time.

But why not make milk sausage and sausages at home from quality ingredients and according to a recipe that will not harm your health? Food blogger Olha Riabenko shared this recipe on Instagram.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 2 pieces
  • Broth – 200 ml
  • Gelatin – 30 g
  • Beetroot juice – 2 tbsp.
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Dried garlic – 2 tsp.
  • Nutmeg – ½ tsp.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Bay leaf
  • Pitted olives – 250 gr

Method of preparation

1. Boil the chicken meat with onions, carrots, and bay leaf and divide it into pieces.

2. Dissolve gelatin in 200 ml of broth and let stand for 15 minutes.

3. In a blender, mix the meat, beetroot juice, gelatin, and spices until smooth.

4. Cut off the bottle and pour over the mass. Add the olives, mix well, and refrigerate for 4 hours.

5. Open the bottle and cut it into pieces.

6. If you want to make sausages, put the mixture in an oblong ice cube tray.
