Homemade bagels with jam: a simple dish that everyone loves

A sweet baked bagel is a taste that is familiar to everyone. This incredible two-bite pastry has become so ingrained in our lives that it is now present on millions of tables as a simple tea-time treat.

Most of us are used to buying bagels in the store, not wanting to "play" with the dough. However, homemade bagels with thick jam are radically different from the ones you buy. That's why food blogger Anna chose to share her recipe for homemade delicacies on Instagram and suggested that we repeat it.

Ingredients:

lard - 200 gr

flour - 400 gr

sour cream - 200 gr

powdered sugar - 100 g

Ingredients for the filling:

thick jam - 100 g

Method of preparation:

1. Combine lard with flour and grind into crumbs with your hands.

2. Add sour cream and knead the dough. It should be soft and elastic.

3. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 2 hours.

4. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Leave one part on the table and put the rest back in the fridge.

5. Roll out a thin layer of dough in the shape of a circle and cut out triangles.

6. Spread the filling and form bagels. It is very important that the filling is thick.

7. Put the bagels on a parchment-lined baking sheet and put them in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
