Hearty pita bread envelopes: a recipe for a delicious filling

Pita bread is an excellent base for making various pies, appetizers, and desserts. It can be used to make delicious envelopes with a variety of fillings: cheese, minced meat, meat, ham, or vegetables.

Food blogger Yuliia (yulia_delicious_recipes) shared a recipe for pita bread envelopes with a delicious egg filling on her Instagram page.

Ingredients:

• pita bread – 3 pcs.
• eggs – 2 pcs
• hard cheese – 70 g
• sour cream/yogurt – 3 tbsp.

• herbs
• salt

Method of preparation:

1. Boil the eggs in advance, and cut them into cubes when ready.

2. Grate the cheese, and chop the herbs.

3. Mix eggs, cheese, herbs, sour cream/yogurt and salt. Mix until smooth.

4. Cut the pita bread into strips, put the filling, and wrap it in an envelope.

5. Fry the envelopes on both sides.
