Healthy doughless pizza in minutes: what to make the base from
For homemade pizza, it is not necessary to knead the dough. It will be much easier to use regular pita bread. And to make the dish healthy, use chicken for the filling, and avoid a variety of sauces.
The idea of making a healthy and quick pita pizza was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Alex Mil (mil_alexx_fit). The base is very appetizing and crispy.
Ingredients:
- pita bread - 130 g
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- milk - 130 g
- salt, pepper
Ingredients for the filling:
- tomato - 50 g
- chicken breast (smoked) - 70 g
- corn - 35 g
- grated cheese - 35 g
- hot peppers and olives (optional)
Method of preparation:
1. Roll the pita bread into a roll and cut it into strips.
2. Spread them evenly on the bottom of the pan - no need to pour oil on the pan.
3. Beat eggs and milk, adding salt and pepper.
4. Pour everything into the frying pan and put on low heat.
5. Top with the filling: thin slices of smoked chicken breast, tomato, canned corn and grated cheese.
6. Cover everything with a lid and cook over low heat for about 8-10 minutes.
7. If you want a perfect crust, put it in the oven at 200 degrees for 5-7 minutes, in the "grill" mode.
