Buckwheat is a healthy product that can be used to make soups, delicious porridge, as well as buckwheat.

Cook Tamara shared on Instagram a recipe for buckwheat pilaf with chicken thighs, vegetables and ketchup.

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken thighs - 6 pcs.
  • Garlic - 4-5 cloves.
  • Onion - 2 pcs.
  • Spices for kebab meat, paprika, pepper, Provance herbs.
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Tomatoes - 2 pcs.
  • Ketchup - 2 tbsp.
  • Buckwheat - 2 cups
  • Hot water - 4 cups
  • Herbs, garlic

Method of preparation:

1. Fry the meat in a frying pan until golden.

2. Add the chopped garlic, stir and add the onions. Pour in all spices and salt. Stir and fry until the onions are cooked.

3. Peel tomatoes, chop finely and add to meat. Add ketchup and stew for 10 minutes.

4. Pour in rinsed buckwheat, water and cover with a lid. Turn down the heat and cook for 25 minutes.

Ready pilaf with chicken meat

Add chopped garlic and herbs when serving.
