Fresh salad with herbs and vegetables: a must-eat in spring
Salad is a perfect dish for springtime. By eating this food, you relieve your body and enrich it with vitamins, which are very necessary after winter. You can combine a lot of greens, vegetables, various seeds, and cheese.
The idea of making a crispy spring salad was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Oksana Kretsul (oksana_kretsul).
Ingredients:
- lettuce (iceberg, romaine, other)
- mixed greens
- sweet red pepper
- cherry tomatoes
- leeks
- celery
- almonds/walnuts/sunflower seeds/pumpkin seeds (take what you have)
- halloumi cheese
Ingredients for the sauce:
- olive oil
- lemon juice
- salt/soy sauce (you can add both ingredients)
- mustard seeds (Dijon or French)
- honey
Method of preparation:
1. Wash and chop the vegetables and herbs.
2. Dry the nuts/seeds in a frying pan.
3. For the sauce, mix all the necessary ingredients, do not be afraid to add honey, because the sweet sauce goes very well with the salad.
4. Put all the vegetables and herbs in a bowl or large dish, add the sauce and mix well.
5. Fry the halloumi cheese in olive oil with a little salt. Fry until golden brown.
6. Put the cheese on the finished salad, and sprinkle with toasted nuts or seeds.
