Eggplant French-style that taste better than meat: a dish in 20 minutes

Eggplant is a very tasty and hearty vegetable. It can be fried, boiled, baked, added to soups and snacks.

One of the cooking blogs(zhuravlina_cooking) on Instagram posted a recipe for French-baked eggplant that tastes better than meat.

Baked eggplant recipe in French style

Ingredients:

  • eggplants - 2-3 pcs
  • tomatoes - 2-3 pcs
  • cheese - 200 g
  • mayonnaise - 70-100 g
  • olive oil (you can use plain oil) - 3-5 tbsp.
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • salt
  • ground black pepper - 1/ 2 tsp.
  • khmelisuneli or Provencal herbs - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. To the olive oil add crushed garlic, honeysuneli or provincial herbs and ground black pepper. This will be the dressing for the vegetables.

2. Wash the eggplant and cut into 5 to 6 mm thick slices. Place on parchment.

5. Bake the eggplants in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Bon appetit!
