Delicious shakshouka: a versatile dish for all occasions

Shakshuoka is a dish that is perfect for breakfast, lunch, and even dinner. It is incredibly easy to prepare and relatively quick.

Recently, food blogger lizaglinskaya posted a recipe for incredible shakshouka on Instagram. Following it, a real gastronomic masterpiece can appear on the table in a matter of minutes.

Ingredients

  • Eggs - 3 pcs
  • Oil
  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Bell pepper - 1 pc
  • Small tomatoes - 3 pcs
  • Salt
  • Cilantro and parsley

The method of preparation

1. Fry the chopped onion and garlic in a frying pan with oil.

2. When the onion starts to brown, add the finely chopped pepper and fry for a few more minutes.

3. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes for 20-30 seconds, then immediately place them in cold water. Remove the skin and get rid of the seeds.

4. Add the finely chopped tomatoes to the pan and continue to fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes.

5. Make small wells in the mass and place the eggs in them.

6. Season with salt and fry for 4-5 minutes until the whites turn white and the yolk remains runny.

7. Shakshouka should be served with dried bread.
