Delicious liver pate without bitterness: how to cook

To make the pate light, not greasy, and satisfying, you should use chicken liver. Besides, it cooks quite quickly. And to avoid a bitter aftertaste, you should use vegetables.

The idea of making a delicious chicken liver pate was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Iriska Dimitrova.

Ingredients:

  • 350 g chicken liver
  • 1 tbsp of oil
  • 100 g of onions
  • 100 g of carrots
  • 0.5 cups of water
  • 30 g of butter
  • salt, pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Fry the chopped onion in 1 tablespoon of oil until transparent.

2. Add the carrots and fry everything together until golden brown.

3. Add the washed chopped liver and fry for a few more minutes until the liver turns white.

4. Add water, cover, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes over low heat. The carrots and liver should be soft and a little water should remain in the pan.

5. Transfer the liver and vegetables to a blender bowl, add salt, pepper and butter, and blend until smooth.

6. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for several hours.
