Chicken wings like KFC: how to cook at home to make them just as good
Chicken wings from the world-famous fast-food chain are a favorite cheat meal of millions. But you can cook it at home without spending extra money and add your favorite spices to your taste.
Food blogger Hanna Pylypliuk shared the recipe for these wings. On YouTube, she explained how to cook the wings in such a way that they could not be distinguished from the well-known ones.
Ingredients for wings
- Chicken wings - 1 kg
- Dried garlic - 1 tsp.
- Paprika - 1 tsp.
- Chili - 1 tsp.
- Water - 100 ml
- Salt
- Oil - 4 tbsp.
Ingredients for the breading
- Flour - 5 tbsp
- Salt
- Chili - ½ tsp.
- Paprika - 1 tsp.
- Turmeric - ½ tsp.
Method of preparation
1. Wash the wings well and dry them with a paper towel.
2. Add all the spices for marinating and 100 ml of water.
3. Salt to taste and add 4 tbsp of oil. Stir and set aside for 1 hour to marinate.
4. Meanwhile, prepare the breading. Mix all the ingredients in a separate bowl and add salt.
5. When the wings are marinated, coat them in the breading.
6. Put one wing at a time in a slotted spoon and dip it in water, then transfer it to a container with flour. Roll them well.
7. Deep-fry the wings until cooked and place them on a paper towel to drain off the excess oil.
