Cheese and garlic bread is very easy to make with lots of cheese and a soft bread center with a crispy outside. You will definitely like this recipe. The bread is perfect for any dinner or as a separate dish!

Hector Jimenez-Bravo, a judge of the MasterChef cooking show, shared a recipe for aromatic cheese and garlic bread on his Instagram page.

Cooking fragrant cheese and garlic bread

Ingredients:

For choux pastry:

  • Flour - 20 g;
  • Milk - 80 ml;
  • Flour - 300 g;
  • Sugar - 15 g;
  • Salt - 6 g;
  • Yeast - 6 g;
  • Soft butter - 20 g;
  • Egg - 1 pc;
  • Milk - 90 ml;
  • Cream cheese - 40 g;
  • Butter - 80 g;
  • Parsley - 25 g;
  • Salt - 5 g;
  • Whole garlic - 1 pc;
  • Mozzarella - 100 g + 30 g;
  • Egg - 1 pc.

Method of preparation:

1. Combine flour and milk, heat on the stove until the custard dough thickens.

2. Pour all the dry products, custard dough, egg, milk, cream cheese into the mixer bowl and mix with the hook attachment for 10 minutes.

3. Add 20 g of butter and knead for another 5 minutes.

4. Transfer to a bowl greased with oil and leave to rise in a warm place for 1.5 to 2 hours.

5. Bake the garlic at 160° and squeeze it into the butter. Add parsley and salt and mix.

6. Roll out the dough into a 50x50 cm layer, brush with garlic butter, sprinkle with cheese and cut into squares according to the width and height of the mold. Fold the pieces into 3 pieces and put them in a baking dish covered with parchment.

7. Bake for 25 minutes at 180°, covered with foil.

8. Take it out, sprinkle with cheese and bake for another 5 minutes at 180°.
