Caesar salad with turkey: what to add to the dish to diversify its taste

Caesar salad is the most classic of all modern salads. So from time to time, you want to diversify it a bit by adding new flavors.

This is exactly what a food blogger with the nickname jocheretyan decided to do. On Instagram, she suggested adding a secret ingredient to Caesar salad that would significantly change the taste of the dish.

Ingredients for the salad

  • Romaine lettuce or iceberg lettuce - 1 bunch
  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 gr
  • Ciabatta - 1 pc
  • Turkey fillet - 200 gr
  • Parmesan cheese - 50 gr

Ingredients for the sauce

  • Olive oil - 100 ml
  • Sour cream or mayonnaise - 150 gr
  • Lemon juice - 1/3 pcs
  • Parmesan cheese - 120 gr
  • Anchovies - 3-4 pcs
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Salt
  • Pepper

How to cook

1.Marinate the fillets with salt, spices and olive oil. Fry until tender or bake in the oven at 190 degrees, then cut into slices.

2. Cut the tomatoes in half.

3. Tear lettuce leaves into a deep bowl with your hands.

4. Add the fillet, tomatoes, grated Parmesan cheese, boiled eggs, cut into 8 pieces, and ciabatta breadcrumbs.

5. Mix all the ingredients of the sauce until smooth and season the salad.
