Budget holiday appetizer with mushrooms: very quick to prepare
Mushroom appetizers will perfectly complement any festive table. They are quite budget-friendly and do not require long cooking. They go well with bacon and cheese.
The idea of making a quick baked mushroom appetizer was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Anastasia with the nickname grigorieva_ak. The sour cream-based sauce will add a special spicy flavor.
Ingredients:
- mushrooms - 0.5 kg
- onion - 1 pc
- cream/sour cream - 50-70 ml
- bacon - 200 g
- mozzarella - 100 g
Ingredients for the sauce:
- sour cream
- garlic
- dill
For serving:
- greens (arugula + spinach)
Method of preparation:
1. Peel mushrooms and separate the cap from the stem.
2. Finely chop the stems.
3. Finely chop onion.
4. Fry the onion in a preheated frying pan for 2 minutes.
5. Add the mushroom stems and fry for another 10 minutes.
6. Add cream and grated cheese.
7. Once the cheese is melted, remove from heat.
8. Put the mushroom caps in a baking dish covered with parchment, add the filling and wrap in bacon.
9. Put in a preheated 180-degree oven for 30 minutes. The bacon and cheese cap should be browned.
