Baked mackerel in 20 minutes: what to marinate in
A mackerel is a fleshy fish with few bones. This makes it ideal for baking. But to make the product tasty and juicy, you need to marinate it. For this, soy sauce and a few other simple ingredients are suitable.
The idea of cooking baked mackerel in the marinade was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Tetiana Sheremet (tania_sheremet_).
Ingredients:
- mackerel – 2 pcs.
- soy sauce – 4 tbsp
- lemon zest – 1/4
- lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- ground coriander – 1 tsp
- sugar – 1 tsp without slide
- lemon pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut off the head and fins of the mackerel, remove the entrails (it is better to do this when the fish is not yet completely frozen), wash it, cut it into fillets, and cut each fillet in half.
2. For the marinade, mix the soy sauce, sugar, coriander, lemon zest and juice, and lemon pepper.
3. Marinate the fish for 30 minutes.
4. Roll up each piece and secure it with a toothpick.
5. Pour over the remaining sauce.
6. Put in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
