The simplest spread made from a product everyone has: takes 10 minutes to prepare
Lard is a product that can not only be added to minced meat for cutlets or baked in the oven with spices or potatoes but is also an ideal ingredient for making a delicious spread.
Chef Anatolii Dobrovolskyi shared a recipe for a delicious and budget-friendly spread on Instagram, based on lard, spices, and dill.
Ingredients:
- Lard – 800 g
- Salt – to taste
- Garlic – 10 cloves.
- Chili pepper – 1 pc.
- Smoked paprika – 1 tbsp.
- Chopped dill – 2 tbsp.
- Ground coriander – 1 tbsp.
- Mustard, bread, green onions – for serving
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the frozen bacon into pieces, and pass through a meat grinder.
2. Pass the garlic through a meat grinder as well.
3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, add the spices, chopped dill, chopped chili, mix well, and form a sausage with your hands. Put in plastic wrap and roll the sausage again, put it in the freezer for a while. But you can eat it right away.
4. Spread mustard on the bread, top with the spread and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
