Almost every housewife knows how to make homemade dumplings. To make the dough fluffy, cook it in boiling water, and the dumplings will be tall and light.

The cook shared a recipe for fluffy and delicious dumplings with sauerkraut on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • water - 250 ml
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
  • flour - 450 g
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • sauerkraut - 300 g
  • salt/pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Fry sauerkraut over low heat for 25-30 minutes and season with salt and pepper. Stew under the lid.

2. For the dough, pour boiling water into a deep bowl, add oil, a spoonful of salt, and flour and mix with a spoon. Add egg and continue mixing until the dough has cooled enough to knead by hand. Knead the dough and let it rest.

3. Roll out the prepared dumpling dough into a thin layer and cut out identical circles.

4. Put the filling in the center and fold the edges.

5. Bring the water to a boil and cook the dumplings until they float!
