Korean style beets: a recipe for a delicious and healthy appetizer
Beets can be used to make not only borscht and salads but also delicious snacks. Beets are also good to eat raw. Add spices and oil and you get Korean-style beets.
Chef Valeriy Ponomar shared a recipe for delicious Korean-style beets with spices and garlic on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Beets - 500 g.
- Salt - 1/2 tsp.
- Sugar - 1.5 tbsp. l
- Coriander - 1 tsp.
- Vinegar 6% - 2 tbsp (wine, apple, rice)
- Garlic - 4 cloves.
- Sunflower or sesame oil - 60 ml (4 tbsp)
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the beets on a Korean carrot grater, sprinkle with salt, and leave for 30-40 minutes, do not pour out the juice.
2. Add all the remaining spices and pour hot oil, mix well, and refrigerate in an airtight container for 12 hours.
Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days!
