How to make crispy bagels in 15 minutes: the recipe for the most successful dough
If you want to make a delicious and safe dessert for tea, crispy bagels are the perfect option. The most important thing is to make a good dough.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for very crispy, delicious bagels for tea, to the dough for which you only need to add melted butter.
Ingredients:
- 100 ml of warm milk
- 70 g of sugar, vanilla
- 7 g of dry yeast
- 2 eggs
- 200 g of melted butter
- 500-550 g of flour
Filling:
- thick jam/jam, poppy seed filling, sugar and cinnamon
- 1 egg for greasing
Method of preparation:
1. Add yeast and sugar to the warm milk and mix. Then add flour, eggs, butter and mix. The dough should be smooth and not stick to your hands, leave it to rise for 1.5-2 hours.
2. Divide the dough into 6 equal parts, form a ball from each and roll each ball into a large thin circle on a floured surface. Cut into 16 equal pieces, put a little filling and wrap in bagels.
3. Put the formed bagels on the parchment and leave to proof for 30 minutes. Before baking, brush with egg and sprinkle with sugar.
4. Bake the bagels at 190 degrees for 13-15 minutes.
