Carrots are a valuable product that experts recommend eating for everyone, especially children. It is often used to make pies, cakes, cutlets, and chops, and is added to almost all soups, cereals, and salads.

Chef Natalia Mizina shared a recipe for a delicious carrot side dish on Instagram that will go with any dish (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the page).

Ingredients:

  • carrots – 300 g
  • vegetable or chicken broth – 150 ml
  • butter – 2 tbsp.
  • sugar – 1 tsp
  • black pepper and salt – to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the carrots into circles.

2. Heat the broth, add sugar, salt, pepper, and butter, and heat until the butter melts.

3. Then pour in the broth and bring to a boil over high heat, add the carrots, cover, and cook for another 30 minutes. During this time, the liquid will turn into a glaze and the carrots will become soft.

4. Wash and finely chop the parsley.

5. Sprinkle the carrots with parsley and serve.
