How to cook braised cabbage deliciously: add just 2 ingredients for an original taste

Braised cabbage can be a standalone dish or an addition to mashed potatoes, cereals, and pasta. To make it juicy, cooks advise adding chopped fresh apple or tomato sauce.

Ingredients:

  • chicken fillet - 2 pcs.
  • mushrooms - 500 g
  • cabbage - 1 pc.
  • sauerkraut - 600 g
  • tomato paste - 3 tbsp.
  • garlic - 3 cloves.
  • salt, pepper, spices - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the chicken fillet into cubes and simmer for 5-7 minutes.

2. Cut the mushrooms into cubes and put them in a saucepan (where the chicken was stewed), fry for 10-15 minutes.

3. Finely chop the cabbage and add to the mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

4. Sauce: add the tomato paste, garlic and spices to the water, mix thoroughly, add to the pan and simmer for another 5 minutes. Add the chicken and sauerkraut, stir and simmer for another 20 minutes.
