Sausages are a delicious meat dish that is most often eaten with hot dogs, added to omelets, and cooked in dough. Usually, they are bought ready-made, but you can also cook them at home, which is the only way to be sure of their safety.

The chef who cooked for Queen Elizabeth II, Jeff Baker, has revealed the secrets of making perfect sausages, which you can now cook correctly, reports the Daily Star.

Tips from the cook:

1. Be sure to remove the sausages from the refrigerator 20 minutes before cooking.

2. Do not boil or grill the sausages, but use a non-stick frying pan with a thick bottom.

3. Do not pour oil into the pan

Jeff recommends using a teaspoon of duck or goose fat to get tasty sausages when frying.

"Wait until the fat is completely dissolved so that the bottom of the pan is covered, then drain off the excess fat and cook the sausages," the chef advises.
