How to cook fried potatoes correctly so that they are crispy but not burning: sharing a life hack

Almost everyone loves fried potatoes, and they are very easy and quick to prepare. To prevent them from burning, cooks advise soaking them in water.

Cook Yulia shared a recipe for delicious fried potatoes with smoked breast, onions, and spices on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • potatoes - 500 g
  • smoked brisket - 250 g
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • parsley
  • paprika - 1/2 tsp.
  • salt, pepper, dried garlic - to taste
  • oil

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces and boil until not fully cooked. Drain the water.

2. Meanwhile, cut the smoked brisket into pieces and fry in a dry frying pan until crispy. If the brisket is lean, add 1 tbsp of oil. Then add the chopped onion and fry until transparent.

3. Put the boiled potatoes in a frying pan, sprinkle with salt, paprika, pepper and mix. Fry until tender for 10-12 minutes, sprinkle with parsley and garlic and serve.
