How to cook bulgur properly so that it is useful: a recipe for dinner
Bulgur is a very tasty and valuable product that can be cooked in a saucepan, as well as in a frying pan and in the oven. It can be used to make salads and soups.
Cook Alexa shared a recipe for delicious bulgur with Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and Worcestershire sauce on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- bulgur - 100 g
- oil - for frying
- water - 200 g
- avocado - 1/2 pc.
- sun-dried tomatoes - 4 pcs.
- parmesan cheese
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tbsp
- dry herbs
- roasted chickpeas and sesame seeds - peanuts, walnuts, seeds
- boiled egg
Method of preparation:
1. Fry the bulgur in vegetable oil for a few minutes until it is crusty. A nutty flavor should appear.
2. Then add boiling water and cook over medium heat for 20-25 minutes. Season with salt and spices. After that, add Worcestershire sauce for a smoky note and mix.
3. Chop the vegetables and sun-dried tomatoes, add to the porridge, stir, and add the Parmesan cheese.
Serve the porridge with a boiled egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds, nuts or seeds!
