Ingredients:
- eggs - 1 pc.
- milk - 70 ml
- water - 70 ml
- butter - 40 g
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 300 g
- dry yeast - 5 g
- yolk and 2 tbsp. of milk for greasing khachapuri
The filling:
- suluguni cheese - 300 g
- cottage cheese - 100 g
- milk - 80 ml
- egg yolks - 2 pcs.
Preparation method:
1. Combine the egg, salt, sugar, milk, water, and melted butter; mix with a whisk.
2. Add the sifted flour and yeast to the liquid ingredients and knead the dough. Knead the dough on the surface for up to 10 minutes until it becomes soft and smooth. The dough may stick to your hands a bit, which is normal; do not add more flour.
3. Place the dough in a bowl greased with a little oil, cover it with cling film, and put it in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours.
4. Divide the dough into 2 parts, roll them out into ovals, place the filling on one side, pinch the edges, and shape them.
5. Place them on parchment paper, and put the remaining filling inside. If desired, brush the edges with an egg yolk mixed with milk, and bake for 25 minutes at 210°C.
