Rice can be cooked in many ways: with vegetables, meat, and seafood. Rice can also be used to make desserts in the form of puddings and casseroles.

Cook Iryna shared a recipe for delicious rice with vegetables on Instagram, which will be crumbly and flavorful.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice
  • 3-4 tbsp of oil
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 can of canned corn
  • 1 can of canned peas
  • salt, pepper
  • 1-2 tsp curry (adjust to taste)

Method of preparation:

1. Rinse the rice well and cook in salted water until tender.

2. Fry the onion until golden brown, add the chopped pepper and fry for another 2 minutes.

3. Add corn and peas, simmer for another 2-3 minutes to evaporate excess moisture. Add salt, black pepper and curry, stir.

4. Pour in the cooked rice and cook over low heat for a few more minutes, stirring constantly.
