Grated jam pie: how to prepare the most budget and delicious dessert
Every housewife knows how to make a grated pie. The most important thing is to make the shortcrust pastry correctly, and you can use any jam, nuts, chocolate, fresh berries and fruits for the filling.
The cook shared a recipe for a delicious jam pie, which is very crispy, on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- butter (chilled) - 100 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- flour - 215 g
- a pinch of salt
- baking powder - 0.5 tsp.
- sugar - 40 g
The filling:
- favorite jam - 150 g
Method of preparation:
1. Pour sugar, baking powder and a pinch of salt into sifted flour. Mix and add chilled butter. Rub everything with your hands into crumbs.
2. Add egg and knead the dough. Wrap 1/3 of the dough in cling film and put it in the freezer for 20-30 minutes. Leave 2/3 of the dough in the refrigerator.
3. Roll out most of the dough (2/3) on parchment and place in a baking dish.
4. Cut and trim the edges and spread your favorite jam. Grate the smallest piece of dough (1/3) on top of the jam.
5. Bake the cake at 180 C for 30-35 minutes.
