Easy and healthy egg and tuna salad without mayonnaise for dinner

If you like light and healthy dishes, salad is the best option. It's best to make it with seasonal vegetables and dress with oil, preferably olive oil, rather than mayonnaise. Add fish, eggs, and seafood to make the salad more hearty.

Nutritionist Svitlana shared a recipe for a light, healthy salad with tuna, eggs, and olives on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 6 pcs.
  • tuna in olive oil - 1 can (about 200 g)
  • mustard - 1-2 tsp.
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • olives - 10-15 pcs.
  • capers - 2 tbsp.
  • red onion - 1 pc.
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Boil and peel eggs. Chop coarsely. Leave 1 yolk.

2. Drain oil from tuna into a bowl. Mash the fish with a fork.

3. Mix mustard with lemon juice and add the mashed yolk. Mix well, add tuna oil, salt and pepper and mix again.

4. Crush olives, remove the pits and chop them randomly.

5. Cut onion into thin rings and then into quarters.

6. Assemble the salad: mix eggs, tuna, olives, onions and capers, pour the dressing over, stir and let stand for 30 minutes.
