Crispy homemade bagels: the recipe for the perfect dough
Homemade bagels can be made from both puff pastry and yeast dough. You can use any jam, condensed milk, or chocolate for the filling.
Cook Anna shared a recipe on Instagram for delicious, crispy bagels with jam that cook very quickly.
Ingredients:
- 100 ml of warm milk
- 70 g of sugar, vanilla
- 7 g of dry yeast
- 2 eggs
- 200 g of melted butter
- 500-550 g of flour
- egg for greasing
Filling:
- thick jam/jam, poppy seed filling, sugar and cinnamon
Method of preparation:
1. Dough: mix milk with sugar, add yeast, mix and add eggs, beat with a whisk, and add butter. Then add the flour and knead the dough.
2. Put the dough in a bowl, cover, and leave to stand.
3. Then divide the dough into 6 equal parts, form a ball from each, and roll each ball into a large thin circle on a floured surface. Divide into 16 more equal parts, put a little filling, and roll into bagels.
4. Put the bagels on parchment and leave it to rise for 30 minutes. Before baking, brush with egg and sprinkle with sugar.
5. Bake the bagels at 190 C for 13-15 minutes.
