The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious Christmas cake with oranges, which will be very soft and flavorful.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Butter – 110 g
  • Sugar – 150 g
  • Flour – 260 g
  • Baking powder – 10 g
  • Cinnamon – 0.5 tsp.
  • Orange – 1 pc.

For the syrup:

  • Orange – 1 pc.
  • Sugar – 150 g
  • Water – 50 ml

Method of preparation:

1. Beat eggs with sugar into a white foam. Add soft butter, orange juice, and zest, then whisk.

2. Add the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon, and mix until smooth.

3. Put into a muffin tin and bake for 45 minutes at 180 C.

4. Syrup: combine orange juice, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, and cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.

5. Remove the hot cake from the mold and pour the hot syrup over it.
