Better than pilaf: rice with vegetables in a pan for a hearty lunch
Rice is a very healthy and satisfying product that can be used to make not only pilaf and paella, but also delicious soups, salads, and milk porridges. Rice can also be deliciously cooked with meat and vegetables. The most important thing to remember is that rice and rice dishes can be eaten immediately after cooking, but not the next day, as it will be dangerous.

Ingredients:
- Rice - 200 g
- Sweet pepper - 1 pc.
- Champignon mushrooms - 400 g
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Water
- Salt, pepper, spices
- Oil for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse the rice well with water.
2. Wash, peel and chop the vegetables.
3. Heat a frying pan, add oil and fry the onions and carrots for a few minutes. Add peppers and mushrooms, stir and fry for a few minutes, then sprinkle with spices, salt and pepper.
4. Add the rice to the pan, pour in water to cover the rice and cook it over low heat under a lid for 10-15 minutes.
5. After the water has evaporated, leave the rice under the lid for 10-15 minutes.
