Ostap Stupka told the details of the affair with Marharyta Tkach, who is 35 years younger: he introduced his beloved to his mother

Popular Ukrainian actor Ostap Stupka, who is romantically involved with cultural critic Marharyta Tkach, who is 35 years younger than him, explained why he has not proposed to her yet. If the lovers decide to legalize their relationship, it will be the fifth marriage of the famous actor.

In an interview with OBOZ.UA, Ostap Stupka said that he does not consider a stamp in his passport an achievement. However, he admitted that his mother, with whom he is very close, has already met Marharyta.

Ostap Stupka has been married four times and has three adult children. His first marriage was a student marriage that did not last long. This union produced a son, Dmytro Stupka, who also became an actor. The second one was also short-lived; the actor married a Kyiv ballerina Tetiana. The third union with Iryna Batko, who is now the director of the Kyiv theater "Suzirya," gave birth to two children, Ustyna and Bohdan. The couple divorced after 15 years of marriage. Later, Ostap married a student, Daryna, who was 20 years younger than him. This marriage also did not stand the test of time. Now the artist is dating a cultural critic Marharyta Tkach. The age difference between the lovers is 35 years.

Ostap admits that he did not fall in love with Marharyta at first sight: "At the third. Yes, not at first. I don't know, it was just the way the stars aligned. These are subconscious things. It meant that she needed me, and vice versa. And it all came together. Did you introduce her to your mother? We came to visit once. I don't want to stress my mom too much, I'm trying to protect her."

As for officially marrying Marharyta, he says this: "Oh, I don't think about it yet, honestly. Sometimes I read about some people online: they got married after 10 years of a relationship. I think: oh, well, that's normal. And after six months, a year... We still need to live together for a while, to feel each other. I recently read an interview on the Internet with Catherine Deneuve, who said that if you want to maintain a relationship with your lover, you don't have to marry him. And it makes sense. What good is that cliché? The main thing is love and support for each other."

The actor admits that he never thought he would have four marriages: "No, I didn't. And when people told me that I get married too often, I told them about the movie "The Marriage Habit" with Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin. They were on and off. However, with each other, it's different with me: I'm going for a record."
