Hollywood star Vera Farmiga releases first music video of her band The Yagas, honoring "the struggles of the Ukrainian people"

Hollywood actress and singer of Ukrainian descent Vera Farmiga has released her first music video, which she dedicated to the brave citizens of Ukraine. The celebrity is the lead singer of The Yagas, which she named after the mythological character of Slavic folklore Baba Yaga.

The 51-year-old artist posted the video for her debut song The Crying Room on the band's official YouTube channel. In a few days, the music video gained almost 400 thousand views and over 1.5 thousand comments.

In the mystical video, Vera Farmiga wanders through a dark forest wearing a black dress. Covering her face with a mourning veil, the celebrity enters an old church, where she cannot hold back her tears, remembering an important person who once passed away and the only memory of whom is left is a wooden cross with a small bouquet of wildflowers. Thanks to her talented acting, the lead singer of the newly formed band The Yagas immerses fans in the mysterious and sad atmosphere of her first music project.
