A private event in support of Ukrainians with Alina Grosu and Miss Universe Ukraine 2024 was held at the home of the Mayor of New York City

Singer Alina Grosu, who has been living in America since 2022, attended a private meeting with New York City Mayor Eric Adams organized in support of Ukraine. She was accompanied by Miss Universe Ukraine 2024 at the event, which was held at the politician's home. Alina Ponomarenko and members of the city's Eastern European community.

The women received personal invitations to the meeting. As it became known from Alina Grosu's InstaStories, she was to represent our country in the United States. The singer traveled to New York by plane from the other side of the country - Los Angeles. It is in this city that she has been living since she entered the Hollywood School of Acting.

"On the plane. I was invited to a private evening with the mayor of New York, I will represent our country," she wrote.

She went to the meeting in a black dress with Ukrainian embroidery on the sleeves. Moreover, later the controversial singer was officially recognized as a representative of Ukrainian culture in New York.

"An amazing event and I was very pleased to be a part of it. To meet such honorable people and especially to be invited to represent our country. The event was held in the building where the mayor lives. Of course, there were a lot of security guards, very respectable people, cultural, scientific, sports figures, investors, businessmen, high-ranking officials, as well as our people who have achieved great things," Alina Grosu reported.

In turn, Alina Ponomarenko only posted a photo of herself against the backdrop of New York City Mayor Eric Adams' speech and wrote that she was pleased with the event: "It was a warm meeting with the Mayor of New York. Thank you for helping Ukrainians who came to New York because of the war. You are a man with a big heart."
