It turns out that the answer is in their heads: these people simply have different values and do not consider expensive things worthy of large investments.

Their example shows that, apart from clothes, there are many other things that billionaires don't like to splurge on because they realize that otherwise their wealth cannot last. In particular, the natives of Silicon Valley know exactly how hard they have managed to achieve ten-digit bank accounts.

Both of the aforementioned billionaires even have certain life hacks to simplify the routine of choosing everyday clothes.
