Ukrainian TV presenter and theater critic Lyubov Yanas died in a fire in her apartment in Lviv. The tragedy happened on Friday, May 31, in the evening.
The woman was 63 years old. The cause of the fire is unknown. The death of the TV presenter was reported by the director of the Lviv State Palace of Aesthetic Education of Student Youth, Oleh Klymovych, on Facebook.
Lyubov Yanas died at the age of 63.

"Tragic news! Famous TV journalist and editor of Lviv TV Lyubov Yanas died in a fire at the age of 63. May she rest in peace!" he wrote.
The loss was also reported by Lidia Danylchuk, an actress at the Theater in a Basket workshop and a colleague of Yanas: "Another loss... Last night, Lyubov Yanas died in a fire in her apartment. A well-known TV presenter of art programs on Lviv television, theater critic, teacher, friend and supporter of our theater..."
Lyubov Yanas worked at Lviv television.

According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Lviv Oblast, rescuers received a report of a fire on the seventh floor around 9 p.m. and managed to eliminate it at almost 10 p.m. "When the firefighters arrived at the scene, flames were coming out of the apartment. The stairwell was filled with smoke. The body of the owner, born in 1961, was found at the scene of the fire. The fire destroyed 15 square meters of household items," the statement said.
Only the owner of the apartment was found at the scene of the fire.
