On May 13, the grand finale of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 took place. Millions of viewers watched the development of events and witnessed the victory of the Swedish singer of Moroccan origin, Loreen. She received 340 points from the jury and 243 points from the audience. Ukraine was placed sixth in the overall standings. The band TVORCHI had a decent performance on the Liverpool stage with the song Heart of Steel.
The Ukrainian duo came out on stage at number 19. Recall that the musicians did not perform in the semifinals, because as the winning country, they went straight to the finals. The jury estimated the performance of TVORCHI at 54 points. But they got a good score of 189 points from the audience. By the way, the Czech Republic has given Ukraine 12 points. And this despite the fact that there was a scandal around the representatives from that country because of the participation of the Russian singer in the team.

The Ukrainian band from Ternopil performed the song Heart of Steel in the finale. This track is inspired by the events at Azovstal and was born in the spring of 2022.
By the way, according to the results of two votes, the top three were Loreen from Sweden, Käärijä from Finland, and Noa Kirel from Israel. Bookmakers from the very beginning predicted the first and second place exactly for these performers.
