The final of the first European season of The Voice 13 was won by 25-year-old Ukrainian Armed Forces veteran Mykhailo Panchyshyn, who goes by the call sign Ptashkin. In the grand final, he competed with another warrior vocalist, Yuriy Gorodetsky, but Ukrainians gave the majority of their votes to the singer-songwriter.

Yurii Gorodetskyi, the "silver medalist" of The Voice final, emotionally addressed the Armed Forces and his family. He thanked his wife and called for the Russians to be expelled from Ukrainian land, and then to sing together.
