The tallest woman in the world impressed with her Halloween costume: how Rumeysa Gelgi, who is more than 215 cm tall, looked like. Photos and videos
Turkey-born Rumeysa Gelgi, who was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the tallest woman in the world 10 years ago, impressed with her original Halloween costume. The 27-year-old, who is 215.16 centimeters tall, decided to dress up as Snow White.
According to Guinness World Records, the record holder had previously made a custom-made dress to match, but she was missing a few elements to create the perfect look. Wearing the fabulous outfit of Rumeika, Halle met with children from one of the elementary schools in America.
"So, I had a dress, I had a bow, but I didn't have a cloak, a red cloak, which is an important part of the Snow White costume," said the world's tallest woman.
Rumeysa Gelgi and her mother visited a store that sells a large number of costumes to find the last detail of her Halloween bow. While shopping, she tried on several interesting hats and masks before finally finding the perfect accessory.
Later, the Turkish native changed into her desired and ideal Snow White look, in which she went to meet with young schoolchildren.
"I am very excited. I am looking forward to their reaction when they see me. I'm probably the tallest Snow White they've ever seen," the record holder shared her thoughts.
The children were especially excited to take pictures and hug Gelgi, and when she got up from her wheelchair, they were shocked by her height. According to one of the teachers, while talking to the schoolchildren, the record holder shared an important message that you should always be yourself.
In addition to holding the honorary title of the world's tallest woman, Rumeysa Gelgi holds several other records, including:
Longest finger in a living person (female) - 11.2 cm
The widest arm span in a living person (female) - 22.6 cm
The largest hands in a living person (female) - right hand 24.93 cm and left hand 24.26 cm
The longest back for a living person (female) is 59.90 cm.
The Turkish native has Weaver's syndrome, a genetic disorder that causes rapid excessive growth throughout the developmental period, combined with abnormalities in the development of the skeleton and internal organs. Because of this, she can only move around with the help of a wheelchair.
