The reason why Prince William and his children did not look at the camera in the photo on Father's Day has been revealed

It became known why Prince William and his children did not look at the camera in the photo for Father's Day

On Father's Day, which fell on June 16 this year, the Prince and Princess of Wales posted a festive photo in which Prince William and his children had their backs to the camera. This puzzled the fans, but in fact, the picture had a hidden meaning and was closely related to the holiday.

At first glance, the photo that appeared on the couple's Instagram depicted a family (but without Kate Middleton) looking out at the endless sea. Indeed, even in the comments, fans wrote: "This is a gorgeous photo! Look to the future together." However, the reason for this angle is only that the prince tried to convey a sense of close relationship with his children.

According to Judy James, a body language expert at the Daily Express, this touching photo speaks to the family's "intimacy," i.e., their own idyll and mutual understanding. It is worth noting that if the family members were turned to face the photographer Kate Middleton, it would be seen as a sign of pride.

"When they are photographed from behind, they avoid talking to the camera. It shows that this intimate and loving moment has been captured, not a 'one trick pony' where they pose to please the viewer," James explained.

Speaking to The Sun, she added: "William is very much the protector here, he reaches out with both arms to surround his children in a 'winged' gesture, as if to hide them under his wings. Charlotte is depicted here as a daddy's girl, leaning toward her father and hugging him around the waist. George and Louis demonstrate body language that indicates a desire to announce that they consider themselves to be quite grown up here."

"We love you, Dad. Happy Father's Day. G, C & L," read the description to the photo. In particular, "G, C & L" is an abbreviation of the first letters of the names of Prince William and Kate Middleton's children, George, Charlotte and Louis.

Prince William himself took advantage of the occasion and congratulated his father on the holiday by publishing a rare family photo with him. In the picture, Charles III is playing ball with little William when he was young. "Happy Father's Day, Pa. W," he wrote, where "W" stands for "William."

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that Kate Middleton's son noticed an interesting moment when he was riding with his mother in a carriage to Buckingham Palace during The Trooping The Color. There were a lot of people around, but they were happy to see the princess again, who hadn't been seen in public for six months.
