The melody of two hearts: Svitlana Bilonozhko says a tender farewell to her beloved husband, with whom she lived together for 47 years

On January 12, the National Philharmonic in Kyiv hosted the funeral service for pop singer Vitaliy Bilonozhko, who died of cardiac arrest. Fans, the military, colleagues, and family came to say goodbye to the legendary singer. Among them was also Vitaliy's wife Svitlana, who said goodbye to her beloved in a very tender way: she gently stroked her husband.

An OBOZ.UA correspondent was at the scene and reported that the woman could hardly hold back her tears. Svitlana was standing over Vitaliy's body, first stroking his head, and then leaning over the coffin and leaning on her hands.

Sometimes people came up to her and tried to comfort her, as the couple had lived together for 47 years. The ceremony lasted about three hours.

Vitaliy Bilonozhko was sent off with applause and tears. The singer will be buried at the Baikove cemetery.

The funeral procession was attended by Ivo Bobul, Nadiya Shestak, Vlad Darvin and Taras Petrynenko and his wife, Volodymyr Talashko, Pavlo Zibrov, composer Oleksandr Zlotnyk, actor Petro Maga, singers Alla Kudlay and Aurika Rotaru, Nadiya Shestak and actor Dmytro Linartovych. In particular, there were wreaths with ribbons "From the Rotaru Family" and "From the Loboda Family" next to the coffin.

The founder of the Melody of Two Hearts family art festival passed away on January 9. He celebrated his 70th birthday in the summer. His wife said that Vitaliy spent the last minutes of his life in the hospital, where his heart stopped.
