"She believes in what she is saying." Director Semen Horov explained why Taisiia Povalii supported Russian aggression

Horov says that Povalii now has "a different heart and a different mind

Famous filmmaker Semen Horov suggested that singer Taisiia Povalii, who fervently supports Russian aggression against Ukraine, sincerely believes in the nonsense she communicates in the press. The director explains this by stating that the singer has been living in Russia for a long time.

He said this in an interview with OBOZ.UA. Semen Horov used to collaborate actively with Taisiia Povalii, inviting her to his musicals and filming music videos for the singer.

"I am sure that she was influenced by propaganda," Horov explains the artist's commitment to the Kremlin regime, "She and her husband used to work there more than they used to visit here. The imperial essence gets into people's heads and eats away all humanity. All that remains is money and the opportunity to be close to the authorities. I think she sincerely believes in what she is saying. There is another heart and another brain there if there is one left. But I'm not a psychiatrist to investigate this."

The sellout artist is ready to do anything to keep the Russian audience's favor. For example, she gave an interview to one of the Russian propaganda portals, in which she stated that she was "with Russia."

"I am for a return to normal life from the zombified state that Ukraine is in," the singer told the Harmanians, "My soul was torn when people were burning in the Trade Union Building in Odesa. I cried when Dr. Lisa died in a plane crash, even though people in Ukraine were rejoicing at her death... I was waiting for the time of justice to come. Finally, it is coming. I want people in Donbas to live the way they want to live, not to have anything imposed on them, not to be raped. And this is what we are fighting for now."

"I feel that Russia is now defending. I have hope. For me, Vladimir Putin is the person who can keep Russia strong and rid the world of the Nazism I have encountered," the singer continued, repeating word for word the propagandists' methodology.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote about where Povalii's son lives in "decaying Europe."
