"Sex Education" star Gillian Anderson wore a dress with embroidered vaginas to the 2024 Golden Globes

"Vaginas, there are so many vaginas on my dress. It took 3.5 hours to embroider each one, and there are a lot of them. So it was about 150 hours of embroidery," the actress said. In an interview with Deadline, she said that she created this image because it corresponds to her own brand G Spot.

"Since my Instagram presence has been highlighting vaginas since Sex Education came out on Netflix, and my G-Spot brand mantra is 'pleasure first,' I wanted to add that element to the design," Gillian explained to Vogue.

The actress accentuated her look with Chopard jewelry and a metallic lacquer handbag and Aquazzura shoes. In particular, Gillian posted photos from the Golden Globes 2024 on Instagram. In two of the photos, the actress is eating a sausage. The caption to the photos has a somewhat sexual overtone: "Sometimes you just need a sausage to go with a dress with vaginas."

Gillian Anderson's bizarre dress created a stir on social media. It was actively discussed in X.
