Regina Todorenko receives Russian citizenship: Odesa native keeps silent about the war, calling for "peace" instead

TV presenter and singer Regina Todorenko, originally from Odesa, appears to have received Russian citizenship shortly before President Vladimir Putin's re-election. Since 2016, the traitor has already been living in Moscow, and with the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she even tried to sympathize with her countrymen and bring the nations back together. At that time, the authorities sued people for "discrediting the Russian army," so the traitor had no choice but to become a patriot and keep silent about any terrorist actions.

Due to the fact that in 2022 the National Security and Defense Council imposed sanctions against her and several other stars-traitors of Ukraine, the presenter lived with Ukrainian citizenship for some time. However, her patience apparently ran out and she decided that she needed to be a "true patriot." Now, according to the propaganda media, Todorenko has finally received her brand new red passport.

According to singer and TV host and now military volunteer, Kolia Serha, she did not take her parents and brother from Odesa to seek a better life in Russia. However, her brother allegedly does not support Todorenko's political position, and her parents, most likely, think the opposite.

"I think that if they (parents - Ed.) did not support her, we would have found out about it. And she hadn't received this support from parents, I think she would have changed her rhetoric. Although I may be wrong," Serha said.

Having lost one family in Ukraine, the traitor found another in Russia. Five years ago, she married a patriotic singer, Vlad Topalov, with whom she already has two sons, Mikhail and Miroslav. Earlier, Todorenko even tried to reconcile Ukrainians and Russians through children, calling for "peace." The woman posted a photo with her husband and son and added emojis of citizenship to each of them: Ukrainian for herself, Russian for Topalov, and a mixture of Ukrainian and Russian for the child.

However, it seems that the former Odesa resident is having a hard time living in his new family. As OBOZ.UA has learned, Topalov is on the verge of a career collapse, and against this background, he allegedly has a drug addiction and commits domestic violence due to financial difficulties. Todorenko probably keeps silent about the war in Ukraine precisely because of her political disagreement with her "Z-patriot" husband.

"Is it even worth talking about your political position in the family? Because Vlad and I now... we realized that it is difficult for us to come to a consensus, we just think differently," she said in one of her own shows.

In particular, Vlad Topalov is prohibited from crossing the border with Ukraine because of his constant trips to the occupied Crimea. For these "achievements", the singer was also included in the Myrotvorets (Peacemaker) database.

At the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, the TV presenter tried to draw Russians' attention to the terrorism they were committing in her homeland by posting photos of the victims. However, within a few weeks, she stopped even mentioning Ukraine, ignoring anything related to the war to this day. Such a drastic change probably occurred after the government passed a law on the so-called "fakes about the Russian army."

As reported, many other traitors to Ukraine have been granted Russian citizenship. Taisiia Povalii has already been a supporter of the "Russian world" since the beginning of the war in 2014. However, she was able to receive her "bloody" passport only in 2023, boasting of it at the polling station, probably having voted for the dictator. At the same time, Ani Lorak is only on the way to doing so so as not to lose her income due to the new laws.
