"Painful events happened." Mila Nitich, who lost her 3-room apartment, tells what happened to the money from the sale

Singer Mila Nitich, who shocked the world with the news that she sold her only home to develop her career a year ago, has revealed where the money from the sale of her three-bedroom apartment in Irpin, Kyiv region, went. The artist also admitted that her personal life has also undergone some changes. As you know, a month ago Mila announced her engagement, but now she says she is single again.

In a conversation with OBOZ.UA, Mila Nitich told us where she lives now and about the painful events in her relationship. We met with the singer at the presentation of the feature film "Meeting of the condominiums" in a Kyiv cinema.

– Mila, exactly a year ago we did an interview with you, where you told us that you sold your apartment near Kyiv to invest the money in your art. Are you happy with the result?

– Yes, I invested in my project. I got the result – maybe not immediately the one I was hoping for, but I have a lot of performances now, thank God. I'm preparing an album for release, and at the same time, I'm rebranding the project. I think we will launch in late winter or early spring. Among the songs that I will present, there will be several that are not expected from me at all. Everyone is used to me being a singer of a lyrical image, but this will be dance music. It's unusual, but very interesting.

The singer says that she still lives in Irpin near Kyiv, but now rents a house: "This is my favorite city, only there I can feel calm. All my work is concentrated in Kyiv, and I travel a lot on tour now."

Mila assures us that she does not regret being left without her own home: "In this sense, I recall an interview with Monica Bellucci, my favorite actress. She was asked: "What would you not want to happen to you again?". She answered: I would never want to be 20 years old. This shows that a person has no regrets."

"Personally, I would never want the situation I found myself in last year to happen again," explains the singer, "I was in doubt about whether to sell my apartment or not. Now I think I did everything right, there was no mistake. I had enough money for a few songs. I didn't get a super hit, I'm going through hard times, like all Ukrainians, but the work has paid off. And you have to admit: if you sit back and do nothing, nothing will happen."

Just over a month ago, singer Mila Nitich publicly announced that she had received a marriage proposal and became a bride. According to her, the singer's chosen one is six years younger. The singer's beloved was not involved in the music industry and was engaged in business. Mila Nitich decided not to disclose his name or any other details at the time. Today, the singer answered questions about her personal life for OBOZ.UA: "Now I am alone. There were some very painful events in my life, but I'm not ready to talk about them now. I promise that I will definitely tell you when I'm ready."
