Natasha Korolova, Tetiana Ovsiienko, and Lolita singing "In a Grove by the Danube" in Ukrainian: an archival video surfaces online

Natasha Korolova, Tetiana Ovsiienko and Lolita used to sing Ukrainian folk songs

Few people remember this anymore, but the singers Natasha Korolova, Tetiana Ovsiienko, and Lolita Miliavska are Ukrainian. The first two were born and raised in Kyiv, received their education here, and began to take their first steps in music, while their third colleague is from Mukachevo in Zakarpattia, lived in Lviv for a while, and then moved to the capital. Today, all three position themselves as "Russian artists" and ignore the full-scale war in their homeland, if not support it, then ignore it. Meanwhile, an archival video of the "Ukrainian women" performing the Ukrainian folk song "In the grove, by the Danube" surfaced online.

The video went viral on TikTok. As OBOZ.UA found out, it was recorded back in 1996.

Back then, Korolova, Ovsiienko, and Lolita took part in a pre-election concert tour in support of Boris Yeltsin called Vote or Lose. It lasted 42 days, and in addition to the three "Ukrainians," it also featured Philip Kirkorov, Valerii Leontiev, and other stars. They can also be seen in the video.

The video itself was filmed after or before the concert in an informal setting. Three singers from Ukraine were sitting dreamily and stretching: "In the grove, by the Danube, a nightingale is chirping, calling all his birds to his nest. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. The nightingale is chirping, he is calling his young to the nest."

All three of them knew the words of the folk song perfectly, so they never lost their way. The Internet user who shared this video left an extremely apt comment: "1996. When some "stars" had not yet lost their memories.

Other viewers, meanwhile, do not spare any scathing comments either. They state that they are not at all sorry that the traitors are still in Russia.

"All Russian pop musicians are Ukrainians... Who forgot that they were Ukrainians in 2014", "You have a good jaw", "Those who abandon their roots will never have a future", "When they were still people", "It's good that they got hit, we didn't lose much", "That is until they were injected with Sputnik", "And they seemed to be normal people! And now, what has Russia done to these stars? They all seem to have gone crazy there," these and many other similar comments are left by netizens.

As a reminder, Natasha Koroleva has become a true Russian patriot, and her stripper husband Tarzan is an avid Putinist and war fan. Not so long ago, the singer hit another low point. She released a joint track with fellow Putinist Gazan, in which the ex-Eskimo proudly claims to be "made in Russia". And to advertise the shameful song, the "Ukrainian" danced strangely against the backdrop of the Kremlin.

Lolita, meanwhile, also chirps everywhere about her love for Russia, which she considers her homeland. However, earning the bloody rubles for which the singer sold herself is currently extremely difficult. The fact is that Lolita has no concerts at all because she participated in Nastia Ivlieieva's "naked party". To somehow influence the haters, the artist promised to restore the church in the occupied Ukrainian territories.

As for Tatyana Ovsienko, the former lead singer of the band Mirage, she chose a silent position. The singer does not talk about the war but continues to tour Russian cities and entertain Z-patriots. Read more about the traitor and where she disappeared to in the article.
