Kuzma Scriabin actor admits that he is preparing to join the Armed Forces: what direction he chose

Ivan Blindar admitted that he is preparing to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Ukrainian actor Ivan Blindar, who played the role of Andriy Kuzmenko in the movie Me, Victory and Berlin, admitted that he is studying military affairs. The actor believes that in a full-scale war, one should be prepared to go to the front to defend his native land from Russian invaders.

Currently, Blindar is helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a volunteer, but he does not rule out that sooner or later he will have to join the Armed Forces himself. He shared his thoughts in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, which was posted on YouTube.

"These are the times when you either need to be in the Armed Forces or for the Armed Forces. There is no third option. So you need to live as much as possible in these pauses while you are donating, working for donations, learning to fight, or fighting. Don't forget about life," said the actor who plays Kuzma Scriabin in the film based on the story of the legendary deceased musician.

Not long ago, Blindar visited Donetsk region, in particular Kramatorsk and Kostiantynivka. There he talked to Ukrainian heroes, to whom he plans to show the film about Kuzma in the future.

Communication with the soldiers inspired Ivan to prepare for service in the Armed Forces. The actor says he has already completed a course in tactical medicine, but now his goal is to master drone control.

"I made an agreement with the guys - we downloaded a training course for a drone, a Mavic, and my classmate handed me the remote control. I'll be learning a little bit on my own. As the saying goes, it's better to know and use than not to know and shit yourself. Plus, I still want to master FPV, but in the future I would like to learn how to fly large wings - Leleka... In case of emergency, you have to be ready for anything," Blindar said.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Kuzma Scriabin's wife Svitlana Babiychuk and their daughter Barbara attended the pre-premiere screening of the film Me, Victory and Berlin in Kyiv. The artist's family members rarely go out and communicate with the press, but this time they made an exception, because the film is based on a story by Andriy Kuzmenko.
