The husband of the Women's Quarter star Iryna Soponaru, a British man, Reece, spoke about his experience of living in Ukraine. In particular, how he managed to master the Nightingale language in just four months.

The newly-minted couple shared the details with journalist Alina Dorotiuk. According to Reece, he has been living in Ukraine for three and a half years, so he needs to understand the language and those around him.

Soponaru noted that her beloved had been learning Ukrainian not since the beginning of his stay in the country, but over the past four months. "When the war started, Reece didn't speak Ukrainian yet, he spoke Russian very well," the actress explained. The Englishman agreed: "Yes, I started learning Ukrainian six months ago." According to the celebrity, the man did not want to be "the one person in the company" who asked to be translated into Russian.
