29-year-old billionaire Anant Ambani, son of India's richest man, Mukesh Ambani, and his chosen one, Radhika Merchant, went on a trip to the Mediterranean Sea to celebrate their pre-wedding celebration. The lovers arranged a four-day cruise with 1200 guests, with performances from Katy Perry, David Guetta and the Backstreet Boys.
There is still a month before the couple's wedding, but they have already started a grand celebration, which will end in Mumbai in July, Daily Mail writes. By the way, pre-wedding events began back in March with a party that cost the couple $128 million.
According to media reports, the couple invited family members, friends, CEOs of global companies, Bollywood and Hollywood stars, including Adam Sandler, to the cruise. A total of three stops were planned: Sicily and Rome in Italy, and Cannes in France.
Each evening, the guests were entertained by world stars. This is how the couple decided to thank the people who "made different contributions to their lives". Many of them were not present at the first party, so the future spouses decided to organize another celebration.
The ship that traveled by sea is called Celebrity Ascent and has 32 restaurants, bars and lounges, a garden, a casino, a spa, swimming pools and a theater. The couple chose this place because they didn't know where else they could gather so many people.
The bride changed into three luxurious outfits that were custom-made. The guests could enjoy the sights of Europe during the day and have fun on deck in the evening. The cruise included a masquerade ball at the Château de la Croix des Gardes in Cannes, where Katy Perry performed.
The next day it was Italian artist Andrea Bocelli. By the way, this is not the last high-profile event before Anant and Radhika's wedding. They have planned several religious events that will also be grand.
