The simplest ingredient is sugar. It can help if you have a problem with the shine of gold items. Gold items will shine if they are kept in sweetened water for a short time. Dip chains, rings or earrings briefly in a bowl of water with sugar dissolved in it. Leave it for a few minutes.
The second equally simple ingredient that will help your jewellery shine is a chicken egg. All you need is the white. Take a cotton swab, dip it in the egg white and wipe your jewellery with it. This will help restore the original shine to your gold jewellery.
